We have an exciting opportunity for Behaviour Management Team Coordinator to join our Education team. You will work alongside other staff within a multidisciplinary team, alongside external agencies as and where appropriate , to achieve the best positive behavioural support mechanisms for individual students.

The successful candidate will work with learners to gain a greater understanding of their personal needs and learning styles to enable them to meet their outcomes beyond college. This could range from simple implementation of strategies to assist learning through to multi-disciplinary approach with outside agencies.

The ability to network and liaise effectively with external agencies is essential.

This is a full time position term time only.  The role is to work across the two sites in both Dawlish and Torpoint to aid with all learner referrals and assessments.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator and have a passion for working with children and young people with special educational needs and challenging behaviours.

Oakwood Court College  is looking for a Senior Residential Support Worker who is interested in providing support to our staff team and supporting our students (16-25) with Autism and associated complex and challenging behaviours as they make the journey into adult life.

In return, you’ll receive an hourly rate of £9.75 per hour plus allowances (including overtime premium and sleep in shifts).

You will, ideally, have already achieved an Diploma Level 3 in Health & Social Care- Adults (or equivalent) or be willing to attain this qualification with full financial and practical support from us.

Phoenix Learning and Care Group are seeking a reliable, motivated Teacher to join our friendly, dynamic teams to work a full-time basis to support Children and Young People.

A qualified and experienced teacher is required to work at a very small school for 7-16 year olds with social, emotional and behavioural issues and ASD. This post is for a resilient and flexible teacher who is able to work with small groups of pupils who can be challenging and will need care, support, motivation and inspiration. We are looking for a teacher who will ideally have a flair for Science, ICT and/or Design and Technology and will have experience of teaching up to GCSE level. The successful candidate will have the skills to thrive in this demanding yet rewarding environment and will be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children and young people.

Our aspiration is for all Phoenix services to be rated outstanding and our drive and focus is to ensure all our services provide high quality care and support for vulnerable and challenging young people.

Taking complete responsibility for the running of the service our Managers are expected to maintain exceptionally high standards, provide leadership, support and direction to their  team.  The successful candidate will also need to be able to work with professionals and stakeholders from a wide range of external agencies.

The successful applicants will need to have had experience within Children’s services with demonstrable  leadership experience in  managing  teams for at least two years in a residential setting. A level 5 Diploma, or equivalent, is essential so you will either have this or be motivated to undertake and complete it. Full driving licence is required.
