Location: Dawlish ,Devon and Torpoint, Cornwall

Pay: £20,000 to £25,000 per annum depending on qualifications.

We have an exciting opportunity for Behaviour Management Team Coordinator to join our Education team. You will work alongside other staff within a multidisciplinary team, alongside external agencies as and where appropriate , to achieve the best positive behavioural support mechanisms for individual students.

The successful candidate will work with learners to gain a greater understanding of their personal needs and learning styles to enable them to meet their outcomes beyond college. This could range from simple implementation of strategies to assist learning through to multi-disciplinary approach with outside agencies.

The ability to network and liaise effectively with external agencies is essential.

This is a full time position, 52 weeks per annum.  The role is to work across the two sites in both Dawlish and Torpoint to aid with all learner referrals and assessments.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator and have a passion for working with children and young people with special educational needs and challenging behaviours.

You will, ideally, have already achieved a Diploma or NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (adults) or equivalent or be excited by the prospect of gaining a recognised qualification with full financial and practical support from us.

You will preferably hold a current driving licence, be able to remain calm in difficult situations and willing to work night shifts to cover our 24 hour operation.

Oakwood Court College is looking for a Senior Support Worker (Team Leader) to join the Residential team.

The successful candidate will need to be able to work with parents/carers as well as professionals and stakeholders from a wide range of external agencies. You will be required to manage the team on shift so you need to have excellent people management skills, be highly organised, professional and flexible. Ideally, you will already have experience of manging a team.

You will hold a current driving licence and have a Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).  You must be able to remain calm in difficult situations and be able to build positive relationships with all our students. Please note, the holder of this post may be required to perform Physical Intervention in accordance with Group written policy.This position does involve working days, evenings and weekends. You will also be required to undertake ‘sleep in ‘shifts on a rota basis.

We have vacancies for Registered Managers in our homes in Bideford and Newton Abbot.

Our aspiration is for all Phoenix services to be rated outstanding and our drive and focus is to ensure all our services provide high quality care and support for vulnerable and challenging young people.

Taking complete responsibility for the running of the service our Managers are expected to maintain exceptionally high standards, provide leadership, support and direction to their  team.  The successful candidate will also need to be able to work with professionals and stakeholders from a wide range of external agencies.

The successful applicants will need to have had experience within Children’s services with demonstrable  leadership experience in  managing  teams for at least two years in a residential setting. A level 5 Diploma, or equivalent, is essential so you will either have this or be motivated to undertake and complete it. Full driving licence is required.

Whilst experience in the care sector is preferred, we also want to hear from you if you have a real desire to learn the skills required to ensure all Children and Young People within our care flourish.

It is a requirement that all our Support Workers hold the Diploma Level 3 in Social Care with the Childcare Pathway, so you will either already hold this (or equivalent), or be excited by the prospect of gaining a recognised qualification with full financial and practical support from us.

Phoenix Learning and Care Group are seeking a reliable, motivated Teacher to join our friendly, dynamic teams to work a full-time basis to support Children and Young People. A qualified and experienced teacher is required to work at a very small school for 7-16 year olds with social, emotional and behavioural issues and ASD. This post is for a resilient and flexible teacher who is able to work with small groups of pupils who can be challenging and will need care, support, motivation and inspiration. We are looking for a teacher who will ideally have a flair for Science, ICT and/or Design and Technology and will have experience of teaching up to GCSE level. The successful candidate will have the skills to thrive in this demanding yet rewarding environment and will be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children and young people.
