Four Winds is a large detached house set in beautiful countryside surroundings in Devon. The House sits on a hillside 1 mile from the sea and comes with breath taking views.

10-15 miles from the home are the towns of Bideford and Barnstaple; these towns provide a vast range of leisure facilities such as swimming, quad biking, mountain boarding, horse riding and surfing.

We encourage our young people to join local clubs and groups; with Cadets, Scouts and trampoline club being particularly popular.

We also have a selection of beaches a short distance away, such as Westward Ho! -offering surfing, amusement arcades, Go-karting, mini golf, Golf and wind surfing.

Four Winds is a large refurbished 4 bedroom house which has a spacious living area with a large TV with free view and various consoles to play games on. At the end of the room there is a nice quiet area where young people can relax and read books.

‘the young people work with the staff to make Four Winds a great place to live’

The home has 2 separate bathrooms (shower room and bath room) and the bedrooms are large and spacious, each consisting of their own bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and bed side cabinet (young people can request other items if needed).

We encourage the young people to choose how their room looks and feels. The kitchen-dining area provides a friendly social space for young people. We also have a conservatory and separate laundry room as well as a dedicated computer area for the young people.

The front garden is spacious with a picnic table for when the weather’s good. In the back garden there are two garages, which are in the process of being refurbished; we also have a large area of greenery with a poly tunnel so staff and young people can grow fresh vegetables for the house.

The staff team is friendly and fun to be around; the young people work with the staff to make Four Winds a great place to live. The rules are simple and easy to understand and surround the concept of respecting each other and helping them if needed.
